Reisverslag Week 1

The last time I was here I was here for 3 months and when I got back home and learned about the different stages that are part of living abroad for a period of time, I realised that I'd been in the honeymoon stage througout the whole 3 months. However, on Monday I panicked and felt really homesick. I was ready to pack my bags and just leave because I felt really quite alone and as though maybe going back wasn't the right choice.
I'm better now, but I think I might possibly be in the 'frustration' or 'rage' stage and I really hope it won't last for 3 months this time.
On Sunday, one day after I arrived there was a trip to Norwich planned for the boarders and I went on the trip as well, meeting up with a friend of mine who now lives there.
On Monday I got to see some old pupils from last year again and I saw the staff again, which was lovely. I also got to go to the school and community choirs again, I was a bit rusty, but I'll be fine.
Monday night I had the big breakdown and I had Tuesday off thankfully.
On Wednesday I started by serving as a teacher assistant in the English department and then I taught two one on one lessons.
On Thursday I had the morning off and later I did some more one on one lessons.
On Friday I only had classes in the morning and during lunch I had choir again. In the evening me and the gap students went to the pub for a couple of pints and that was a lot of fun.
The other people living in my house are all very nice and fun people so far.
Today I spend two hours at the gym. The trainer is making a 4 days-per-week program, so I'm excited (and a bit aprehensive) for that.
Every week I'll be teaching 8 one on one lessons and I'm not incredibly happy with that to be honest. I wish I could be teaching more full classes, but I guess that's just not happening right now.
I'm trying to figure out the details about my research project, but the subject is so broad that I need to size it down a bit.

So you're picking up stages where you left off previously? That's quite unfortunate. I hope things go uphill from here.
